Zouwang which simply translates as “Sitting and Forgetting” 坐忘 is a process first described by the Daoist sage, Zhuangzi, and is considered one of the fundamental cultivations/meditations associated with the practice of Daoism.
Sometimes called “Heart cleansing” - this meditation practice is simple and profound, easy to learn and use on a daily basis.
In this one day (approx. 4 hours) online event, you will learn the theory behind this meditation practice, by learning and understanding what it really means to sit and forget, with the part of forget basically aiming at letting go of stressors of the day, to learn (int the long run) to let go on a deeper level, of life itself. In many ways a preparation of being able to live life without emotional stressors.
We start the day with theory, and end with practice, and discussion.
Open for everyone, but it´s strongly recommended that you have done some studies in yin yoga or guasha/Chinese medicine, to be able to fully grasp the idea of “letting go” and working towards the energy of your Kidneys around your waist.
